Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out the conditions under which refunds and cancellations are handled for products and services purchased from CountdownHub's online store. By placing an order you agree to the terms below.

1. Order Confirmation & Acceptance
An order is considered accepted once we send an order confirmation email and the order is recorded in our system. Prices, availability and product descriptions are displayed in good faith; CountdownHub reserves the right to correct errors or update information before the order is accepted.
2. Cancellations by Customer
- You may cancel an order before it has been shipped. To cancel, contact support immediately with your order ID.
- Once an item has been shipped, cancellation may not be possible; in such cases please follow the Returns & Refunds procedure below.
- Custom-made, personalized or sealed hygiene items may not be cancellable once production or packaging has started—these exceptions are noted on the product page.
3. Returns & Refunds (Physical Goods)
Our goal is to make returns straightforward. Return eligibility and exact steps may vary by product; please refer to the product page for any specific exclusions.
- Eligibility: Items must be returned in original condition, unused, with all original packaging, tags and accessories, within the return window displayed on the product page (typically 7–30 days).
- Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive an item that is damaged, defective or incorrect, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and order details. We will provide a return label and either replace the item or issue a full refund.
- Return Shipping: Return shipping costs are handled per the product's return policy. If a return is accepted due to our error (defect, mismatch), we will cover return shipping.
- Inspection: Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the returned item. If an item does not meet return conditions (used, missing parts, missing packaging), we may refuse the return or issue a partial refund.
4. Digital Goods & Services
- Digital products, downloads, subscriptions and services are generally non-refundable once delivered or activated. Refunds for digital goods may be provided only in exceptional circumstances (e.g., non-delivery, technical failure) and are evaluated case-by-case.
- For subscription services, you can cancel future recurring billing; refunds for past subscription periods are subject to our discretion and local consumer protection laws.
5. Refund Methods & Timelines
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary by payment instrument and bank:
- UPI / Wallets: typically 1–3 business days
- Net Banking: typically 3–5 business days
- Credit / Debit Cards: typically 5–10 business days (depends on issuer)
- Bank Transfers / NEFT: typically 3–7 business days
Delays may occur due to the bank or payment gateway; CountdownHub is not responsible for bank-specific processing delays.
6. Order Changes & Price Adjustments
- If we identify a pricing error, we will notify you and give the option to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the order for a full refund.
- Requests to modify an order (address change, quantity, variant) are only possible before the order ships and are subject to availability.
7. Returns Due to Shipping or Address Issues
- If a shipment is returned to us due to incorrect address, absence at delivery, or refusal to accept the parcel, we will contact you. Re-shipment may incur additional charges which will be payable by you.
- If you do not wish to re-ship, we will process a refund after deducting original shipping, handling charges and any return shipping costs, subject to inspection.
8. Fraud, Chargebacks & Abuse
Unjustified chargebacks or abusive refund claims are taken seriously. If you raise fraudulent disputes or repeatedly misuse the refund process, we may suspend or terminate your account and seek recovery through available legal remedies.
9. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items
Certain categories may be non-returnable or refundable only under specific conditions. Examples include perishable items, opened personal care products, clearance items sold “as-is”, and any item otherwise specified on the product page. Always check the product listing for exceptions.
10. How to Request a Refund

12. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from refunds, cancellations, or orders are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in our principal place of business, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
